Industries

We learn your domain. We do not claim to have arrived with it.

The engineering problems repeat across sectors; the rules, the vocabulary and the consequences of getting something wrong do not. Those we learn from you, in the first stage of the work.

Which industries does JANNEX work with?

JANNEX is industry-agnostic. We work with organisations in financial services, healthcare, retail and e-commerce, education, manufacturing, logistics, real estate, professional services, SaaS, technology and enterprise. Domain rules are learned during the understand and define stages rather than assumed.

01

Financial Services

Systems where correctness, auditability and access control are the product, not a layer on top of it.

02

Healthcare

Sensitive data, strict access rules and integrations with systems that were not designed to be integrated with.

03

Retail

Inventory, pricing and fulfilment held consistent across channels that each believe they are the source of truth.

04

E-commerce

Catalogue, checkout and post-purchase operations, plus the automation that keeps support volume flat as orders grow.

05

Education

Content, cohorts, assessment and reporting — usually with a long tail of institutional process to model faithfully.

06

Manufacturing

Shop-floor data, planning systems and the offline-tolerant tools people actually use on the floor.

07

Logistics

Movement, exceptions and visibility. The value is almost always in how well the exceptions are handled.

08

Real Estate

Listings, documents and long transactions with many parties and a great deal of unstructured paperwork.

09

Professional Services

Time, engagements, documents and knowledge — a natural fit for retrieval and document intelligence.

10

SaaS

Multi-tenancy, billing, usage metering and the cost curve that decides whether gross margin improves with scale.

11

Technology

Platform and API work, developer experience, and engineering capacity added to an existing team.

12

Enterprise

Integration across systems that will not be replaced, with security and change control taken seriously.

Transferable

What travels between sectors

Domain knowledge does not transfer. Engineering judgement does.

  • How to model a domain so the sixth change is still cheap
  • Where to put a service boundary, and — more often — where not to
  • How to make a system observable enough to debug at three in the morning
  • How to design permissions so an AI system cannot exceed them
  • How to keep a cloud bill proportional to the work being done
  • How to hand a system over so a team can run it without its authors

If your sector is not listed, that is not a barrier. It usually means we will spend longer in the first stage, and we will say so in the scope.
